Job Summary
Perform comprehensive assessments of patients, administer therapeutic interventions including manual therapy and functional exercises, and evaluate home environments to modify treatment plans. Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants while ensuring compliance with state regulations. Compile clinical records, progress notes, and discharge summaries, and document payroll reports timely. Engage with patients and families to provide education on therapeutic practices and device usage, and collaborate with case managers during interdisciplinary meetings. Serve diverse populations recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions, adjusting plans based on patient feedback and observed outcomes. Full-time role in Cypress, Florida with a salary of $100,000 to $110,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current and valid physical therapy license in the state of Florida
- Proven track record of at least two years of professional experience in physical therapy
- Current certification in CPR
- A valid driver's license
- Automobile insurance
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members
