Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans for orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. Implement evidence-based therapeutic programs and engage in continuous patient education regarding exercise strategies and condition management. Maintain detailed documentation of progress and treatment effectiveness while striving to achieve established utilization goals. Work primarily onsite within the Boca Grande community, providing home-based care to patients recovering from surgery, injuries, and developmental disorders.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Current state license (DPT)
- Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association
- Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in word processing and basic computer applications
- Proven ability to build rapport with patients
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience
Desired Qualifications
- Additional expertise in specific treatment methodologies, such as manual therapy techniques or advanced therapeutic modalities
- Experience in home health settings
