Job Summary
Home-Based AR Clerk responsible for Accounts Receivable functions including preparing and processing customer invoices, supporting account reconciliations, maintaining accurate customer records, and handling AP tasks such as entering payable transactions and following up on vendor inquiries. The role supports a dynamic finance team by managing billing processes, assisting with collections, and ensuring efficient AR/AP operations, while delivering strong customer service and maintaining accurate financial documentation. Requires strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Excel, and the ability to work overnight or US-hours aligned with CST. Education and 1-3 years of AR/General Accounting experience are preferred; CPA/CMA is a plus but not required. The position is fully remote from the Philippines with a full-time schedule; salary range is listed in local currency and benefits include company equipment, internet stipend, HMO, PTO, and career development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience: 1-3 years of Accounts Receivable and/or General Accounting experience, or equivalent
- Language: Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills
- Working schedule: Ability to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within US operating hours
- Technical: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, databases, and accounting software; strong Excel skills (pivot tables, advanced formulas); familiarity with QuickBooks, SAP or similar software
- CPA or CMA is a plus but not required
- AR/AP knowledge, invoicing, reconciliations, vendor communications
- Ability to build relationships with clients and internal departments
- High accuracy in financial records and attention to detail
