Job Summary
Prepare and review various accounting reports such as revenue, expense, and variance reports, delivering monthly financial packages to Owners and Third-Party Management by the 15th of every month. Review, post, and prepare journal entries, including period-end accruals; analyze and prepare consolidation entries as needed. Oversee the reconciliation of various bank accounts. Process outgoing check batches: pull invoices and match them to checks, scan and save each batch to the appropriate building folder, and prepare envelopes with postage for mailing. Retrieve checks from front desks daily, confirm they are logged properly, endorse without obscuring any written information, and deposit electronically. Handle lease administration, including abstracting leases, processing leases from execution through close-out, and managing security deposits. Respond to client, vendor, and tenant inquiries; conduct research on more difficult matters. Conduct financial analysis, including revenue forecasting, and maintain confidential records. Perform other related accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent education and experience is preferred
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required
- Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software
- Experience with commercial real estate accounting software (preferably Yardi Voyager)
- Knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting requirements
- Ability to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within US operating hours
