Job Summary
Partner with the Home Supervisor to provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to Direct Support Professionals, supervising and coaching team members while monitoring student schedules, instructional programs, and daily routines. Support students with activities of daily living, community integration, and life skills, and coordinate group home services by communicating updates with families and internal partners. Monitor student health and safety, respond to behavioral or medical situations, and assist with Quality Assurance checks to ensure compliance with Kansas Department of Health & Environment requirements. Manage the group home budget, maintain required records, and handle confidential information while modeling organizational skills and a collaborative approach. Work a 2nd shift full-time schedule in Wichita, KS, supporting a mission-driven team focused on helping children and young adults with neurodevelopmental disabilities build independence.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of direct care and/or supervisory experience in a residential environment
- Valid Kansas driver's license with a good driving record
- CPR Certification maintained and in good standing
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification maintained and in good standing
- Completion of DSP IV Core Curriculum
- Completion of Coach Badge
- Completion of Heartspring Supervisor Training
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- The ability to maintain confidential and protected health information with integrity and professionalism
- Dependability, professionalism, and a strong commitment to follow-through
