Job Summary
Oversee ICPC home assessments and supervise NYC-based caseworkers to ensure compliant home studies and safety assessments, review interstate placement requests, monitor timelines, and coordinate with NYS counties, OCFS, and ICPC standards. Provide training and quality assurance, manage referrals, and support interagency collaboration to achieve safe, appropriate, and legally compliant placements for children in foster care. Lead staff development, ensure documentation accuracy, and address barriers to interstate placements while maintaining accountability and timely reporting to ACS leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college
- 30 semester credits toward a Master of Social Work or a graduate degree in a related field
- at least eighteen months of child welfare casework experience
