Job Summary
Fabricate hollow metal doors and frames weighing 60 to 150 pounds by welding parts, cutting holes with power tools, grinding welds, and installing vision kits and glass. Read work orders and product templates to establish fabrication requirements. Use electric drills and other tools to complete tasks. Perform duties involving frequent heavy lifting, standing, and walking while working near forklifts and heavy machinery. Requires high school diploma, forklift certification preferred, and ability to pass background check and drug test. Hourly pay with comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, prescription coverage, life insurance, and 401(k) match.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, or an equivalent combination of education/experience
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of architectural door materials and hardware
- Good communication skills
- Ability to accurately do arithmetic, read orders, write instructions and complete forms
- Ability to work closely and cordially with other staff associates
- Must be able to stand and walk for much of the day
- Ability to lift 5-25 pounds frequently
- Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds occasionally
Desired Qualifications
