Job Summary
Greets seated customers, distributes menus, and answers menu questions while taking and delivering food and beverage orders. Ensures tables are clean and stocked with utensils and napkins, then delivers orders to patrons and clears plates after meals. Prepares checks, collects payments, and returns incorrect orders to the kitchen. Assists with dining area cleaning and silverware preparation. Must successfully complete restaurant training, be 21 or older, and possess strong interpersonal skills and POS operation ability.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must successfully complete restaurant's training course
- Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Well-organized with ability to take and place food and beverage orders accurately
- Ability to operate point-of-sale systems
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server preferred
