Job Summary
Deliver Functional Family Therapy (FFT) and Family Check-Up (FCU) services to at-risk youth and parents through home- and community-based visits. Implement evidence-based models using motivational interviewing and parent skills training to strengthen family relationships and reduce problem behaviors. Build trusting relationships with caregivers while collaborating with agency staff, case managers, and community partners to connect families to appropriate resources. Maintain certification by attending required trainings, consultations, and supervisions, and uphold the brand of excellence in all interactions. Work flexible hours including evenings and weekends across listed counties with reliable transportation.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able and willing to work flexible hours - (afternoon, evenings, and some weekends)
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a COMPLETED 4-Year degree in a human services or counseling related field REQUIRED
- Must be willing to submit to and pass multiple thorough background checks
- Must have a valid driver's license with the ability to provide a copy of your current driving record. (Driving record must be in good standing)
- Must have reliable transportation with valid insurance
- Must be willing to travel across listed counties to provide services
- Must have and demonstrate good listening skills, patience and a sense of awareness
- Must adhere to deadlines and expectations for client safety
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer at least 2 years of experience in counseling or mental health field &/or parent training programs working with families and/or parents/caregivers
