Job Summary
Part-Time Holiday & Permanent Lighting Installer. This outdoor role combines technical lighting installation with a customer-first approach for seasonal holiday lights and year-round permanent lighting. Full training and all equipment provided. Responsibilities include installing seasonal lights on rooftops, trees, and exteriors; assisting with takedown and storage; supporting marketing materials during peak season; installing and maintaining year-round permanent lighting on residential/commercial properties; assisting with design consultations; performing routine maintenance; ensuring safe, high-standard installations; working on ladders/roofs; engaging with customers on-site; working independently or in crews across multiple sites; representing the Humbug brand with a positive attitude. Location: Central Austin – Round Rock – Pflugerville, TX. Employment type: Part-Time | Year-Round with peak season October–January; Schedule: Flexible with holiday-season priority; Path to full-time opportunities with Pest Hunters / Humbug Lighting.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and auto insurance
- Comfortable on ladders and rooftops
- Able to lift and carry tools and light strands outdoors
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality of work
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work in varying weather conditions
- Clear, professional communication skills with customers and crew
