Job Summary
Oversee multiple retail locations within a designated geographic area by managing vendor relations, employee relations, staffing, scheduling, and learning and development. Establish opening dates, hours of operation, and special events while ensuring timely preparation through hiring, inventory setup, and staff training. Recruit and train qualified Local Managers, support their hiring and onboarding, and help them apply upselling techniques to meet sales goals. Conduct site visits, analyze sales reports, and implement plans to drive business results, while maintaining positive vendor relations and partnering with mall managers for seamless operations. Respond to business calls and emails within a timely manner, oversee budgeted staff hours, verify daily bank deposits, and manage season-end breakdowns.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma plus 4 years equivalent work experience
- Prior proven success managing multiple locations in the retail/service industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint with daily access to the internet (laptop provided)
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 10-25 pounds and stand for prolonged periods of time
- Professional attire and good hygiene
- Available to attend mandatory pre-season training
- Flexibility and willingness to work during 'peak' retail hours, such as evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to travel including overnights, if required
- Available to work a minimum of 40 hours a week or as needed
