Job Summary
Oversee multiple holiday retail locations within a designated geographic area by managing vendor relations, employee relations, staffing, scheduling, and learning and development. Establish opening dates, hours of operation, and special events through consistent communication with the Regional Manager while preparing each site for timely openings via hiring, inventory setup, and staff training. Recruit and train qualified Local Managers to assist with onboarding and employee relations, then support them in applying upselling techniques to meet sales goals and manage inventory. Conduct site visits to analyze sales activity and reports, implement operational plans, and respond to all business inquiries within a timely manner. Ensure accurate weekly reporting on staff hours, timecards, and bank deposits while overseeing budgeted staff hours and scheduling. Secure scheduled season-end breakdowns at each location, including equipment securing and post-season synopses. Requires flexibility for peak retail hours, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight travel; available for a minimum of 40 hours weekly.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma plus 4 years equivalent work experience
- Prior proven success managing multiple locations in the retail/service industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint with daily access to the internet (laptop provided)
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 10-25 pounds and stand for prolonged periods of time
- Professional attire and good hygiene
- Available to attend mandatory pre-season training
- Flexibility and willingness to work during 'peak' retail hours, such as evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to travel including overnights, if required
- Available to work a minimum of 40 hours a week or as needed
