Job Summary
Deliver sessions for primary-aged children aged 5 to 12 during holiday weeks at Hungerford Leisure Centre, covering activities such as Multi-Sports, Performing Arts, Swimming, and Esports. Create a positive, inclusive learning environment by engaging each child's individual needs while maintaining a high standard of coaching. Manage on-site safety by dealing with any first aid or emergency situations and liaise approachably with parents and teachers. Ensure all delivery aligns with a philosophy of being Fun, Inclusive, and Educational.
Required Qualifications
- Has a keen interest and passion in working with and facilitating fun games for primary-aged children
- Demonstrates willingness to develop their skills and coaching ability
- Punctual, Reliable & Committed
- Has experience in delivering activities to primary-aged children
- Strong communication & organisational skills
- Able to interact well with children, teachers, and parents
- Completed appropriate courses at Sixth Form, College or University
- Level 2 (or above) Childcare qualification
- Level 1 (or above) Sports coaching qualification
Desired Qualifications
- Clean UK driver's license
- Experience in working in a childcare setting
- Experience and/or willingness to deliver other activities during our Fun Week provision, such as: Arts n Crafts, Multi-Sports
