Job Summary
Deliver sessions for children aged 5 to 12 across activities including Multi-Sports, Performing Arts, Swimming, Soft Play, Esports, and Arts and Crafts. Create a positive, inclusive learning environment while coaching to a high standard and adapting to individual child needs. Manage first aid and emergency situations, and liaise approachably with parents and teachers. Ensure every session is fun, educational, and delivered with creativity and commitment. Work at Fareham Leisure Centre during school holiday Fun Weeks, providing opportunities for skill development and progression.
Required Qualifications
- Has a keen interest and passion in working with and facilitating fun games for primary-aged children
- Demonstrates willingness to develop their skills and coaching ability
- Punctual, Reliable & Committed
- Has experience in delivering activities to primary-aged children
- Strong communication & organisational skills
- Able to interact well with children, teachers, and parents
- Completed appropriate courses at Sixth Form, College or University
- Level 2 (or above) Childcare qualification
- Level 1 (or above) Sports coaching qualification
Desired Qualifications
- Clean UK driver's license
- Experience in working in a childcare setting
- Experience and/or willingness to deliver other activities during our Fun Week provision, such as: Arts n Crafts, Multi-Sports
