Job Summary
Provide customer service for various exhibits and shows by assisting guests to safely enjoy their experience. Sell tickets and retail merchandise using accurate, suggestive selling methods while operating cash registers and POS systems. Manage cash banks and deposits following established control procedures. Answer guest inquiries via phone or electronically, direct guests to proper locations, and maintain displays as needed. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to managers while ensuring uniform and personal appearance meet company standards. Comply with quality assurance expectations and identify new ideas to increase organizational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift
- Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance
- Must be able to verify uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
- Must be able to protect company assets
- Must be able to comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
- Must be able to identify and recommend new ideas, technologies, or processes to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings
