Job Summary
Coordinate the registration and administration of the Holiday Assistance Program, managing intake packets for up to 400 families and organizing gift catalogs at the North Pole. Facilitate pick-up and delivery logistics while recruiting organizations to adopt families or children. Work with partner agencies to share family needs, manage the "adopt a family" program within branches, and build volunteer capacity. Monitor expenses within the determined budget and maintain a clean, organized facility. Recruit for fundraising events and strengthen community relationships through collaborative partnerships. Requires flexibility for evening and weekend hours during the holiday season.
Required Qualifications
- Computer experience: Microsoft office suite including Word, Excel
- A basic knowledge of SGA operating system / the wiliness to learn
- Flexibility in schedule as the holidays approach. Some evenings and weekends needed for pick up and drop off activities
- The ability to develop positive, effective working relationships with, staff, volunteers, participants, community leaders and other agencies
- Effective teaching skills
- The ability to deliver leadership
- A high level of enthusiasm
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
