Job Summary
Conduct hoistway cable production including extrusion, printing, cabling, respool, and quality testing. Interpret engineering and production instructions while operating independently to maintain maximum set-up efficiency. Perform material movement in SAP, complete quality and production reports, and cross-train on all department equipment. Maintain safety and housekeeping standards while using forklifts, bar coding equipment, and various hand tools. Night shift coverage from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.
Required Qualifications
- Color perception
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
- Ability to apply strength to move reels in excess of 100 pounds
- Ability to walk and/or stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to climb up and down steps
- Ability to use small hand tools repetitively
- Complete cross-training in all functions within the Hoistway Cell
- Maintain safety and housekeeping standards within the department
- Must function as a team player
- Must be able to operate independently of supervisory guidance
- Must be proficient in all areas related to hoistway cable production and electrical testing
- Night Shift - 11:00 pm - 7:00 am
