Job Summary
Harvest Skilled Knife positions will work with hand tools, knives, machinery and other equipment to process meat products for the consumer. These roles use straight knives, skinning and shaving tools, hand saws, powered whizard knives, and other blades. Roles are physically demanding, requiring good hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to stand for extended shifts; overtime may be required based on production demands. Starting pay is $20.30/hour with comprehensive health insurance, retirement benefits, and education-related programs for eligible team members. Relocation packages are not offered. Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for long shifts (up to 12 hours)
- Able to work around animal blood and/or carcass parts
- Experience with knives and hand tools preferred
- Willing to work overtime depending on production demands
- Ability to work in cold and hot environments
- Able to wear PPE and follow safety protocols
- Certification may be required to operate certain equipment
