Hoffman Estates - Certified Surgical Technician

Certified Surgical Technician (CST) per diem at Hoffman Estates Surgery Center. Responsibilities include scrubbing and assisting in the operating room, preparing and organizing instruments and supplies, maintaining sterile technique, assisting the RN circulator, setting up/breaking down procedures, preparing specimens, and ensuring proper instrument counts and environmental cleanliness. Requires CST certification, NBSTSA verification, and BLS certification; high school diploma or equivalent required. Prior OR experience is preferred. This role supports perioperative care and collaborates with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists to ensure safe and efficient surgical procedures.
