Hockey Programs Manager

Job Summary
Lead all daily hockey operations for the facility by proposing innovative in-house programs and managing on-ice clinics, camps, and practices. Serve as the in-house lead for these initiatives while seeking and hiring both volunteer and paid coaches. Manage written and verbal correspondence with participants, resolve customer concerns, and act as the liaison between programs and USA Hockey. Coordinate scorekeepers and referees for all games, manage employee timecards, and commit to committee responsibilities for the DSMHL or SSHL. Work directly with facility managers to maintain open communication lines. Requires ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and special events
- Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- College degree preferred
- High level of ice hockey playing and coaching experience
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Proven organizational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
