Job Summary
Organize and execute facility hockey programs, including clinics, camps, leagues, and tournaments. Manage Force travel managers, assist with tournament and game schedules, and develop overnight youth camps. Recruit and budget initiatives for in-house events, register coaches and players with USA Hockey, and run ID and Pro Skates clinics twice weekly. Hire, train, and motivate staff while administering team communications and player on-boarding. Serve as MOD on weekdays, weekends, and during events, supporting operational functions as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Experience playing/coaching/teaching youth and adult hockey
- Must have a proven track record of developing, marketing, and selling recreation and training programs
- Must have excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and negotiating skills
- Must be a team player who can manage challenging situations with professionalism and composure
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays
- Must possess current CPR/FIRST AID certifications or must be willing to obtain them within a specified period
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds waist high
