Job Summary
Execute lean initiatives and process excellence projects to eliminate waste and drive Best-In-Class performance across People, Quality, Material Flow, and Cost. Apply methodologies including Value Stream Mapping, Visual Management, and Gemba Planning to improve operations while mentoring executive leadership and training operators on production floors. Lead cross-functional teams to develop sustainable solutions and serve as the subject matter expert for continuous improvement efforts. Work independently under changing conditions with 25% travel, reporting to the Lean Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in leading process improvement projects in manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 2 years of lean, knowledge of six sigma, continuous improvement experience; daily management, strategy deployment, and problem solving in manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to apply Lean principles in a variety of situations
- Must have experience as a General Foreman/Line Coordinator or Supervisor
- Excellent communication skills; comfortable in front of all levels of the organization, as well as external customers
- Experience using process improvement tools
- Capable of working independently under ambiguous and/or changing conditions
- Demonstrated ability to function independently in a high-impact position, with deadline and resource constraints
- Willing to travel at least 25% if needed
