Job Summary
Conduct independently quality control reviews of loan origination and servicing activities, including pre-funding, post-closing, and investor audits, to ensure compliance with internal policies, investor guidelines, and regulatory requirements. Analyze loan documentation and system data to identify discrepancies, defects, and potential risks, then accurately document findings and escalate material issues to leadership. Maintain current knowledge of mortgage lending regulations and investor standards through ongoing education while assisting in validating corrective actions and preparing for internal or external audits. Perform these duties while meeting established deadlines and exercising sound professional judgment in handling sensitive information.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 1-3 years of experience in mortgage quality control, underwriting, compliance, auditing, or a related home lending function
- Regular and Predictable Attendance
- Dexterity of hands/fingers to operate computer keyboard and mouse

Desired Qualifications
