HKHS Student Council Advisor

Advises and oversees the student council in accordance with BOE and co-curricular policies; handles event paperwork for activities, fundraisers, field trips, and other events; maintains and revises the student organization by-laws; ensures student participation on the Board of Education; attends local, regional, and state Student Council conferences; schedules and facilitates weekly officer and committee meetings and monthly full-council meetings; completes all necessary paperwork with administrative approval; chaperones dances, events, and field trips; organizes and runs Bloodmobiles; sets up Picture Day notifications; coordinates the annual Adopt-A-Child fundraiser; manages recruitment procedures in the fall; plans teacher appreciation activities; reports to the co-coordinator annually.
