Job Summary
Fiscal Monitor for BVCOG HIV Services: oversee financial monitoring and compliance for subrecipient and third-party reimbursements, support monitoring of agency contracts, and assess and mitigate risk. Responsibilities include developing and implementing annual monitoring schedules, determining scope and direction of monitoring to ensure grant compliance, conducting subrecipient monitoring with documentation and reporting, auditing provider billing and services integration into the Uniform Reporting System, preparing fiscal monitoring summary reports, reviewing corrective action plans, and advising on improvements while upholding confidentiality and ethical standards. Requires strong knowledge of federal/state fund source requirements, GAAP/GASB/GAAS, CFR 200/Uniform Guidance, and internal controls; travel up to 30%; in-person work schedule; advancement of compliance with grant and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business management, or a related field
- 3 years professional accounting experience in general, non-profit or governmental accounting with auditing, financial analysis and documented findings
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel within the State
