Histotechnologist - Histology Lab - FLA

Perform STAT and routine histological procedures, including preparation, processing, and staining of patient tissues, prior to microscopic diagnosis. Execute immunohistochemical, immunohistochemical, immunofluorescence, special stain, electron microscopy, and frozen section studies. Utilize Fluorescent In Situ Hybridization (FISH) and Digital Imaging as required. Interact with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff to clarify test availability. Collaborate with Pathologists and other team members to problem-solve complex cases. This role supports the Histology Lab at Mayo Clinic, where a career in histology is highlighted as life-changing.
