Job Summary
Histotechnician responsible for preparing tissue specimens for routine and special procedures to aid pathologist diagnosis, including slide and cassette labeling, accessioning, QA checks, staining (including IHC and special stains), loading/unloading slide stainer, and maintaining QC/QA records; requires ability to operate tissue processing instruments, prepare slides for microscopic examination, and document patient records with accuracy; standing/walking for extended periods and ability to work with laboratory equipment and supplies.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years of experience in a lab setting preferred
