Job Summary
Per diem histotechnician role on 2nd shift in Monrovia, CA performing tissue processing, slide prep, embedding, sectioning with a microtome, staining, and immunohistochemical (IHC) testing on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue; responsible for reporting results, operating and maintaining histology instruments, and adhering to quality control procedures. Requires an associate degree in Histology or a high school diploma with 1+ year histology experience and acceptable histology experience; ASCP certifications are preferred. Pay range $36.00-$41.00 per hour with benefits for qualifying hours; Labcorp offers comprehensive benefits and equal opportunity employment.
