Job Summary
Join Labcorp as a Histotechnician in our Pathology laboratory at Lowell General Hospital. Responsible for processing human tissue specimens, preparing histopathological slides, and performing immunohistochemical tests while adhering to the laboratory's quality control policies.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
- Previous histology experience is required without an Associate’s degree
- Ability to accurately read all labels and documents
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to pass a standardized color vision screen
Desired Qualifications
- Histology and/or ASCP certifications
- Comfortability embedding both large and small specimens
- Immunohistochemistry experience
