Job Summary
Histotechnician - Anatomic Pathology needed to perform histologic procedures on surgical and autopsy specimens to provide quality slides for Pathologists. Responsibilities include identifying specimens, processing through fixation and dehydration, embedding tissue for sectioning, microtomy-based sectioning, preparing coverslips, performing staining procedures, and conducting immunohistochemical testing. Requires a 2-year Associate in Science and NY State license or ASCP certification. Location: Glens Falls, NY; compensation based on experience and credentials.
