Job Summary
History Teacher for middle school (grades 7-8) focused on implementing district-approved curriculum, developing and administering lesson plans, and promoting a safe, conducive learning environment. Responsibilities include teaching multiple subject areas as assigned, conducting ongoing assessments, differentiating instruction for diverse learners, maintaining records and communicating with parents, coordinating with staff, and administering standardized tests. Required Qualifications
- State Certification as a Middle School Teacher
- Connecticut State Certification in the appropriate subject matter preferred and may be required
- Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to provide own transportation
- Bachelor's degree in education discipline applicable to teaching assignment
- Masters Degree preferred
