History Teacher/ Coach

History Teacher/Coach responsible for developing and delivering Social Studies curriculum, lesson planning, and instruction to foster understanding of world cultures, geography, economics, political science, and human rights. The role includes developing materials and units, assessing student learning, promoting critical thinking and informed citizenship, maintaining records, engaging with parents, coordinating with colleagues, and ensuring adherence to district policies. Requires knowledge of social studies topics, differentiated instruction, classroom management, and effective communication with students and families. Texas Certification in Social Studies and a bachelor’s degree in education are required; prior teaching experience preferred.
