Job Summary
Associate Banker in JPMorgan Chase's Community Development Tax Credit group focuses on Historic Tax Credit (HTC) equity investments. Responsible for identifying and underwriting HTC opportunities, preparing term sheets and credit-approval documents, structuring financings with HTC subsidies, and closing deals. Builds and maintains relationships with developers, legal professionals, accountants, and consultants, and collaborates across lines of business (Commercial Real Estate, Community Development Real Estate, Private Banking, Middle Market Banking). Requires a Bachelor's degree, strong analytics, writing, and project-management skills, and proficiency with Excel/Word/PowerPoint; 2+ years in credit analysis, structured finance, real estate, or equity investments. HTC knowledge preferred; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
