Job Summary
Histology Technologist/Technician full-time role performing embedding, microtomy, staining, and related histology duties. Responsibilities include receiving/preparing tissue specimens, performing complex histological procedures, maintaining/repairing lab instruments, ensuring lab safety, quality control and quality assurance, and participating in procedures and policy updates. Requires ASCP or AMT certification (or registry eligibility with 12-month certification), and a Bachelor's degree in Laboratory or Biological Sciences.
Required Qualifications
- ASCP or AMT certification as Histology Technologist/Technician required
- If not certified, registry eligible for board exam and certification within 12 months
- Bachelor's degree in Laboratory or Biological Sciences required
