Job Summary
Perform maintenance, calibration, method validation, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on assigned instrumentation. Logically plan and organize work assignments while communicating clearly and effectively to set high performance standards. Manage multiple assignments under time constraints using analytical and problem-solving skills. One year laboratory experience is preferred, with an associate's degree in histology or equivalent training required. ASCP Registry certification is preferred. Schedule is 2p-1030p.

- Interpersonal skills must be well developed
- Ability to make progress on multiple assignments under time constraints
- Analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, orally, and in writing
Desired Qualifications
- One year laboratory experience preferred
- Student experience acceptable
- Associate's degree and completion of an accredited histology technician or other applicable training program is preferred
- ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) Registry preferred
