Job Summary
Prepare pathology and autopsy tissues for examination by the Pathologist. Assist the Pathologist in gross specimen examination and frozen section procedures. This role supports the Pathology department at Good Samaritan University Hospital, a Level II Trauma Center on Long Island's south shore. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technologist and NYS licensure as a Certified/Medical/Histological Technologist.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technologist
- Licensed as a Certified /Medica / Histological Technologist under the NYS Department of Education
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year successful experience in Histology
