Job Summary
Develop and execute a comprehensive cutover checklist and plan across all Sunnybrook campuses, defining sequencing, downtime windows, and go/no-go decision frameworks. Build and maintain cutover runbooks, contingency plans, and a master issues register while managing cross-application risks and resolving discrepancies in real time. Lead dress rehearsal exercises, coordinate physician participation, and validate timing estimates to refine protocols before activation. Direct go-live operations by managing command center workflows, triaging issues, and deploying at-the-elbow support alongside vendor adoption coaches. Lead structured end-of-day debriefs and prepare daily stabilization reports for executive sponsors. This senior operational leadership role supports Sunnybrook's multi-year digital transformation under Project REACH, ensuring safe system activation across integrated sites.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive project management experience leading complex, large-scale clinical and non-clinical projects in a healthcare environment
- Demonstrated experience leading cutover and go-live activities for a multi-site HIS or clinical system implementation
- Direct experience authoring or managing clinical cutover runbooks, downtime protocols, or go/no-go decision frameworks
- Willingness and ability to work on-site across all Project REACH locations as operationally required
Desired Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation
- Oracle Health (Cerner Millennium) implementation experience in a multi-site setting
