Job Summary
Round weekly at assigned facilities in Delaware, OH to diagnose patient conditions via physical examination and telemedicine. Perform medical procedures such as debridement as necessary while collaborating with facility clinical staff on findings and treatments. Document each patient encounter in the APRIMA EMR system using the provided company laptop and maintain accurate medical records. Communicate diagnosis and treatment goals directly to patients and facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals when needed. This part-time role (2-3 days/week) offers no evenings, weekends, or call, with instruments, malpractice, and mileage reimbursement provided.
Required Qualifications
- MD, DO
- Board Certified/Board Eligible
- Active, unrestricted state medical license
- DEA license
- Valid driver license
- Ability to build and maintain rapport with facility staff and patients
- high degree of technical skill utilizing software
- proficiency documenting EMR
- strong attention to detail
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to bend

- Must have proximal and distal dexterity
- Must be able to carry

- Must be able to perform medical procedures i.e., debridement

- Must be able to communicate and collaborate on findings and treatments with facility clinical staff
- Must be able to communicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals
- Must be able to document each patient encounter in EMR - APRIMA
- Must be able to maintain patient medical records
- Must be able to facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities as necessary
- Must be able to work Monday-Friday ~7am to 4pm
- Must not work evenings
- Must not work weekends
- Must not work call
- Must be available for Part-Time (2-3 days/week)
- Must be available for Full-Time (4-5 days/week)
- Must be able to work in Delaware, OH
- Must be able to work in long-term care facilities
- Must be able to work with instruments such as debridement kits & hurricane spray
- Must be able to work with company laptop provided w/ EMR Aprima
- Must be able to work with Malpractice provided for both full and part-time providers
- Must be able to receive Mileage reimbursement based on standard IRS guidelines
- Must be able to work with AmeriWound as your office and administration
- Must be able to work with a Dedicated nurse to round with at each facility
- Must be able to pass a drug test before beginning employment
