Job Summary
Round weekly at assigned facilities in Burlington, VT, diagnosing patient conditions via physical examination and telemedicine. Perform medical procedures such as debridement and communicate treatment goals with patients and facility clinical staff. Document each encounter in the EMR system and maintain medical records on the provided laptop. Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals as necessary. This role requires an APRN or PA-C with an active, unrestricted state license and DEA registration. Valid driver's license and technical proficiency in EMR documentation are essential. No wound care experience is required, as training is provided.
Required Qualifications
- APRN, PA-C
- Active, unrestricted state medical license
- DEA license
- Valid driver license
- Ability to build and maintain rapport with facility staff and patients
- High degree of technical skill utilizing software
- Proficiency documenting EMR
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to bend, kneel, perform proximal and distal dexterity
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekly rounding Monday-Friday ~7am to 4pm
- Must be available for no evenings, weekends, or call
- Must be available for Part-Time (2-3 days/week) with growth to Full-Time (4-5 days/week)
- Must be able to pass a drug test before beginning employment
