Job Summary
Round weekly at assigned facilities in Moline/Galesburg, IL, diagnosing patient conditions via physical examination or telemedicine and performing procedures such as debridement. Document each encounter in the EMR using the company-provided Aprima laptop and collaborate with facility clinical staff on treatment plans. Communicate diagnosis and goals to patients while facilitating referrals to other healthcare professionals as necessary. This part-time or full-time role offers no evenings, weekends, or call, with a weekly schedule from 7am to 4pm. Uncapped W-2 earning potential is directly proportionate to provider availability and documentation volume. Required Qualifications
- APRN, PA-C
- Active, unrestricted state medical license
- DEA license
- Valid driver license
- Ability to build and maintain rapport with facility staff and patients
- High degree of technical skill utilizing software
- Proficiency documenting EMR
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to bend, kneel, and perform proximal and distal dexterity
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to perform medical procedures i.e., debridement as necessary
- Must be able to communicate and collaborate on findings and treatments with facility clinical staff
- Must be able to communicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals
- Must be able to document each patient encounter in EMR - APRIMA
- Must be able to maintain patient medical records on company assigned laptop computer
- Must be able to facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities as necessary
- Must be able to round weekly at assigned facilities within territory
- Must be able to diagnose patient conditions via physical examination and/or telemedicine
- Must be able to work Monday-Friday ~7am to 4pm (flexible start time)
- Must be able to work without evenings, weekends, or call
- Must be able to work Part-Time (2-3 days/week) or Full-Time (4-5 days/week)
- Must be able to work in Moline/Galesburg, IL
- Must be able to work in long-term care facilities
- Must be able to work with instruments provided by AmeriWound, such as, debridement kits & hurricane spray
- Must be able to work with a dedicated nurse to round with at each facility
- Must be able to work with a company laptop provided w/ EMR Aprima
- Must be able to work with malpractice provided for both full and part-time providers
- Must be able to work with mileage reimbursement based on standard IRS guidelines
- Must be able to work where the company serves as your office and administration
- Must be able to pass a drug test before beginning employment
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of experience as a Solo Practitioner preferred
