Job Summary
Structural welders and fitters needed in the Channelview, TX area for long-term marine vessel fabrication and repair projects. Role involves steel structural work across all stages of new construction, primarily flux-core welding. Must read blueprints and follow technical drawings, interpret job specifications, and demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude. Per-diem available for qualified candidates. Responsibilities include performing with minimal supervision, working on large structures and platforms, and adhering to shipyard procedures. Candidates should have experience with ship terminology and blueprint reading; a skills test will be administered.
