Job Summary
Engineer and maintain comprehensive print and document processing workflows using the Solimar Print Tool suite, executing the full development lifecycle from coding and debugging to production deployment. Implement AXL statements and carriage-control commands to meet precise output specifications while configuring Xerox printer settings and performing advanced PDF manipulation. Collaborate across the application portfolio to integrate functionality, manage Change Requests, and oversee deployment activities using Jira and GitHub. Conduct rigorous unit testing to resolve anomalies and deliver Customer Specific Formatting solutions that align with evolving business strategies. Provide timely technical resolutions for production incidents and engage stakeholders in project meetings to ensure seamless data flow and system stability.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years
- Proven hands-on proficiency with the Solimar Print Tool and its core sub-applications, including SPDE, Solfusion, Rubika Process Builder, Rubika Process Manager, SDX Designer, and Ximage
- Strong command of AXL statements and carriage-control commands for document formatting
- Extensive experience in report development, unit testing, and production deployment strategies
- Technical expertise in configuring Xerox printer tray settings and managing PDF document manipulation
- Familiarity with Change Request management processes and the ability to handle production support tickets
- Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Jira for issue tracking and GitHub for version control
- Solid working knowledge of the Windows operating system environment
- Ability to translate customer-specific requirements into technical solutions and documentation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a track record of effective stakeholder engagement
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities to resolve complex technical challenges independently
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced production environment
- Commitment to maintaining high-quality technical documentation and knowledge bases
- 5-7 years of specialized experience working exclusively within the Solimar Print Tool ecosystem
