Job Summary
Provide all aspects of Psychiatric Nursing care for patients on assigned inpatient adult and adolescent units, including float to other units as required. Assess patients' physical and behavioral health needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and coordinate multidisciplinary treatment planning. Accurately implement physicians' orders and prepare, administer, and record medications per policy while documenting information concisely. Conduct assessments, diagnosis, planning, and evaluation of patient outcomes. Requires 2+ years of recent inpatient acute psychiatric experience, BLS certification, and a PA RN license or Compact license. Nights shifts (7:00p–7:30a) in a 36-hour work week rotation.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Recent/Current Inpatient Acute Psychiatric Nursing experience
- ASN or an equivalent
- RN License for State of PA (for candidates residing in PA) or Compact RN License (for Out-of-state candidates)
- BLS Certification from AHA
Desired Qualifications
- BSN or an equivalent
- CPI or HWC Certification
- Comfortable and willing to work with children, adolescents, adults & older adult patient population
