Job Summary
Assess patients' physical and behavioral health needs for adolescents through geriatric patients and develop nursing care plans. Maintain medical records, educate patients and families on conditions, and ensure physicians' verbal orders are legible and transcribed per policy. Conduct ongoing status assessments, document pertinent information, and notify physicians of significant changes. Complete initial and ongoing nursing treatment plans specific to assessed needs. Requires RN license for MA, 2 years experience, and 1 year in psychiatric or behavioral health. Nights shifts, 40 hours/week guaranteed.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse
- 2 years experience
- Recent/Current Psychiatric Nursing or Behavioral health experience
- Experience with Adolescents and Child patient population
- Paper charting experience
- ASN or an equivalent
- RN License for State of MA
- BLS Certification from AHA or American Red Cross
Desired Qualifications
- BSN or an equivalent
- CPI or HWC Certification
