Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive respiratory care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients across inpatient and freestanding emergency settings. Perform approximately 35 treatments daily while managing 5–6 ventilated patients, including arterial blood gas collection, ventilator adjustments, and assisting with intubation procedures. Monitor respiratory status, respond to emergencies, and maintain accurate clinical documentation while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Maintain respiratory equipment and adhere to infection-control standards. Work 12-hour night shifts (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) every other weekend with 2 of 3 major holidays required. Float to the freestanding emergency department as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Current Arizona RRT license
- Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
- Ability to work with adult and pediatric populations
- NICU experience/training
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work independently when assigned to a freestanding emergency department
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- NRP certification
- 12-hour night shifts
- Every other weekend
- 2 of 3 major holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Candidates with at least 2 years of respiratory therapy experience are encouraged to apply

- Strong ventilator management skills
- Ability to perform and interpret ABGs

- Flexible with scheduling, floating, and changing patient-care needs
- Maintains professionalism and sound clinical judgment in high-pressure situations
