*Hiring Registered Nurse (RN) Critical Care - Med/Surg/Neuro*

Job Summary
Conduct professional skilled nursing care for patients with complex medical and neuro diagnoses using the patient-centered care model. Manage acute stroke patients receiving thrombolytics, cardiac arrest cases, and craniotomies while monitoring ventilated patients and titrating vasoactive medications and sedation drips. Perform Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support protocols, including Basic Arrhythmia testing within 90 days of hire. Work three days a week on 12-hour shifts (7am–7:30pm or 7pm–7:30am) with opportunities for paid CCRN certification and tuition reimbursement. No new graduates are currently being hired.
Required Qualifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support) through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia test within 90 days of date of hire
- BSN requirement within 5 years of date of hire for the ASN candidate
- Required basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications including but not limited to Microsoft
- FL Registered Nurse License
- Background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
Desired Qualifications
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification upon hire
- Certification in nursing specialty area
