Job Summary
Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic procedures including general radiography, C-Arm imaging, fluoroscopy, and trauma radiography while verifying physician orders and maintaining patient safety. Operate radiographic equipment effectively, explain procedures to patients, and ensure proper identification and comfort throughout examinations. Maintain accurate documentation, follow infection-control standards, and mentor students or less-experienced staff as needed. Participate in on-call rotations and staff meetings, and assist with other imaging modalities or departmental functions when required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional radiologic technology experience
- Appropriate radiologic technology education and training
- Current and valid professional licensure appropriate to the position and state of practice
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic radiography procedures
- Strong patient-care and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced diagnostic imaging environment
- Experience with radiographs, C-Arm imaging, fluoroscopy, and trauma imaging preferred
