Job Summary
Lay-out, assemble, install, or maintain pipe systems, pipe supports or related hydraulic or pneumatic equipment in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes and industry standards. Responsibilities include reading isometric drawings, fabricating and installing piping; aligning, bolting, and clamping components for welding; assembling and securing pipes and fittings by welding and threading; positioning materials during installation; identifying metal thickness/types; rigging; operating beveling machines, cut-off grinders, hammers, torches, magnetic drills, and Saw-Zall; and hydro testing piping systems. The role requires physical work outdoors, ability to work overtime/nights/weekends, and compliance with safety/project rules. Labor One Staffing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- Experience is required.
- May require a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools and layout tools safely and efficiently.
