**Hiring Patient Safety Attendant Full-time/PRN Night Shift

Job Summary
Conduct continuous visual or physical observation of high-risk patients to monitor behavior, de-escalate situations, and notify nursing staff of condition changes. Maintain direct line of sight with patients at all times, including during family visits, and accompany patients during transportation, testing, and procedures outside the normal environment. Perform regular room assessments, ensure environments are free of obstacles, and assist with basic activities of daily living while restocking non-medicinal supplies. Create accurate documentation of patient status and activity, and support the care team by transporting specimens, delivering equipment, and answering phones. Work alternating weekends and holidays on night shifts from 7 pm to 7:30 am, with full-time roles requiring four days per week of availability.
Required Qualifications
- BLS\CPR certification within ninety (90) days of start date
- HS EQ: High School Diploma, GED or Certificate
- Monday- Sunday, alternating weekends and holidays required
- Day Shift: 7 am- 7:30 pm
- Night Shift: 7 pm- 7:30 am
- Full-time is three shifts/week
- Requires four days per week of availability
- undergo background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse

- ability to follow oral and written instructions
- ability to work with minimal supervision
- demonstrated knowledge/experience of growth and development, and possess the ability to interact, communicate and care for specific patient population with care and compassion
- previous experience in health care field
