Job Summary
Provide OT services to Home Health patients by performing assessments, planning interventions, and evaluating skeletal, neurological, and cognitive functions. Delegate tasks to OT Assistants and Aides while developing specific treatment regimes based on patient tolerance and physician orders. Submit written plans of care and update them as needed, then devise treatment schedules for patients, families, and caregivers. Educate stakeholders on pathology, alternatives, and prognosis using rest, exercise, and modalities. Requires 1-2 years of OT experience with a current Home Health license, BLS certification, and valid driver's license. Full-time, 40-hour day shift (8:00 am–5:00 pm) with guaranteed hours and $2,600–$2,880 weekly gross pay.
Required Qualifications
- Occupational Therapist: 1-2 years
- Recent/Current Home Health OT experience: 1 year within the last 3 years
- Home Care Home Base (HCHB) charting
- Must have valid Driver's License and Personal Auto Insurance
- OT License for State applying or Compact if applicable
- BLS Certification from AHA or American Red Cross
